The fairytale Dalmatian town of Trilj is once again becoming the center of blues sound this summer, thanks to the biggest blues festival in Croatia and one of the strongest musical events of its kind in South-East Europe - the Thrill Blues Festival.
The sixth edition of the festival will be held from June 30 to July 2, and this year, leading world and regional music names of this genre will perform in Trilj, including Robben Ford, one of the world's best blues guitarists, Sharrie Williams, the princess of gospel blues, The Wacky Jugs, last year's winners of the prestigious Blues Challenge in Memphis and many others. In addition to plenty of blues sounds and concerts, the festival will also feature educational programs, workshops, lectures and a Blues Run race. The "city of bridges" on the River Cetina will turn into a magical musical oasis and the European center of blues music during the three days of the festival. All concert events will take place in the City Park in Trilj, and the entrance is free.
